Calgary Civic Symphony’s 40th season

Dear Colleagues,
As some of you know, the Calgary Civic Symphony is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. We are kicking the season off Sunday, November 8 with violin virtuoso Pinchas Zukerman and his wife, cellist Amanda Forsyth, performing Johannes Brahms’ Double Concerto. The programme also includes the world premiere performance of Allan Gordon Bell’s The Light of Adoration, Ottorino Respighi Fontane di Roma, and the Finale from Jean Sibelius’ Symphony no. 2.

We are pleased to offer this special deal to students of the Mount Royal Academy as well as students of ARMTA, APTA & ASA teachers to Sunday’s concert, billed “Glittering Gala”. Student tickets are normally $55 for this concert, but by using the promo code “ACADEMY”, students can purchase their tickets for $27.50 each. Tickets are available in person, online, or phone through the Arts Commons Box Office.

I have attached a poster for teachers to put up in their studio (Poster: 2015-11-08 Civic_Nov8.15)

We have another four concerts this year. You can check them out on our website: http://www.calgarycivicsymphony.ca  Stay tuned for more student deals from us.
